Situation: 30% of all Greenhouse Gas Emissions come from the energy we use in our homes, offices, schools, and other buildings—largely due to the fossil fuels we use to heat. If more New Yorkers took proper insulation measures and used electricity to heat their homes or businesses, then we’d remove millions of tons of carbon from the atmosphere.
